18 Doughty Street Upsets Ken

Ken Livingstone appears to have been upset by claims made in a film on 18 Doughty Street. On the front post of the GLA Website, the story shown on the right was posted.

Ken is objecting to a film broadcast on 18 Doughty Street, made by London taxi drivers [posted below], claiming that emissions-reducing technology causes greater air pollution, which Ken, of course, think is "entirely bogus". And that:

"The extraordinary results claimed by the fringe group of taxi drivers featured on the 18 Doughty Street site have already been investigated and were shown to only have been possible because of the appalling state of the particular vehicles on which the equipment was being used…
Those with an interest in rubbishing the environmental policies being carried out to clean up London's air should check their facts before misleading the public."

The Mayor's taxi emission strategy is part of a programme to tackle air pollution in London, which claims over 1,000 lives each year.

It's a pity that they don't know how to spell or use grammar properly, however, referring to Iain Dale's Diary as "Ian Dales Diary". Kinda ruins the whole press release there.

Iain, of course, refutes the press release, calling it "rubbish".
