Man shot dead in minicab attack
A man in his twenties was shot dead in a minicab in north London in the early hours, police said.
The taxi had pulled over in Dendridge Close, Enfield, when the victim was shot at about 0020 BST.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was not injured but is in shock, said a police statement.
A man has been arrested in connection with a firearm recovered at the scene. He has not been arrested on suspicion of murder.
Police know who the victim is, but have yet to identify him formally. His relatives have been contacted.
