Two taxis robbed by six males at the same time
London police are looking for six male suspects after two London taxi cabs taken to the same location and robbed, early Friday morning (March 14).
Police said two cab drivers picked up six males, three in each cab, at Jalna Boulevard near Bradley Avenue just before 2 a.m. Both cabs drove their respective fares to an area near Deveron Crescent and Almond Road.
"The three passengers in the one cab proceeded to assault the driver and demand money while the other three passengers in the other cab assaulted the driver and also demanded money. The cab drivers were able to fend off the suspects and the suspects fled on foot. The two cab drivers sustained non life threatening injuries. Nothing was stolen," police said.
Descriptions of the suspects are as follows:
A white male, early 20's, chubby, 6'3" tall, 220 lbs, round face, blonde hair and wearing a yellow and white shirt.
A white male 19-20 years old, slim build and face, 160 lbs, and wearing a beige jacket.
A white male 19-20 years old, slim build, 210-220 lbs, wearing a spring coat.
An aboriginal male in his late teens or early 20's, 6'1", chubby, 190 lbs, with black hair and wearing a black sweater and black baseball cap.
An aboriginal male in his late teens, with long, black hair, acne scarred skin and wearing dark clothing.
An aboriginal male in his late teens wearing a hat.
