Six men sought after attack on two cabbies
London police were looking for six suspects yesterday after two cab drivers were attacked.
Police said two taxis picked up six males in the vicinity of Bradley Avenue and Jalna Boulevard about 1:50 a.m. Each taxi took three males to the area of Deveron Crescent and Almond Road.
Upon arrival, both drivers were assaulted and the passengers demanded money.
Police said the cabbies fended off their assailants and sustained non-life- threatening injuries.
Nothing was stolen.
Police issued the following descriptions for the suspects:
- White male, early 20s, chubby, six-foot-three, 220 pounds, round face, blond hair, wearing a yellow and white shirt.
- White male, 19-20, slim build and face, 160 pounds, wearing a beige jacket.
- White male, 19-20, slim build, 210 pounds, wearing a spring coat.
- Aboriginal male, late teens or early 20s, chubby, six-foot-one, 190 pounds, black hair, wearing a black sweater and black baseball cap.
- Aboriginal male, late teens, longish black hair, acne scarred skin, wearing dark clothing.
- Aboriginal male, late teens, wearing a hat.
