Polluting London taxi adds to air woes
I have just browsed the online edition of the TC. I read the articles on the throne speech and then the article about a 1970s London taxi, complete with “purring” four-cylinder diesel engine (that would be a first), being brought to Victoria.
Do we really need any more filthy, archaic vehicles in town?
We already have a host of old buses and coaches to fill the air with noxious fumes.
I love the idea of having period vehicles, but why can’t they be upgraded to be cleaner? If they can’t, then I say it’s not worth it.
Graham Tarling,
Victoria.
