I happened to ask the cabbie if she’s always driving the night shift.  She replied yes and out of curiosity I asked if she’s a night owl.

She said it was a matter of habit but more importantly, she found the passengers in the night to be a more mellow bunch.  (Huh?)  She further explained that somehow passengers seemed to be in a lesser hurry in the night as compared the ones in the day.  She said morning crowd is the most stressful as they are usually in a hurry to get to somewhere like work and often traffic isn’t helping either.
